Fat Ox BBQ started about 8 years ago as a “this’ll be fun” competition BBQ side thing—and then it got serious. One cook turned into another, notes turned into tweaks, tweaks turned into recipes, and before we knew it we were building sauces and rubs that didn’t just taste good in the backyard… they showed up when the judges and the crowd were watching.
Everything we make is hand-crafted, tested, and refined the only way that matters: by cooking with it, serving it, and letting real people decide. The trophies and People’s Choice wins are cool, sure—but they’re really just proof of the point: these are the exact flavors we built to compete with, and they’re the same ones you get to cook with at home.
